Quick Thought: A Succinct Comparison — Reagan vs. Obama

Then —> Reagan: Tear down this wall.   Now —> Obama: Tear down this country.

Quick Thought: Jobs? Where?

The number of planned layoffs at U.S. firms rose slightly in September, though it was the second lowest level of the year, a report on Wednesday said. And private-sector job growth dropped by 39,000 from August to September, a considerably worse number than analysts had expected.

This was a headline on my front page news this morning.  I couldn’t help but laugh.  “Analysts” expected growth?  Under this administration?  An administration that is clueless on job creation? And seemingly determined to destroy all that makes America great? Those “Analysts” need a check up from the neck up!

What do you think?

Greatest Man Of History

This really spoke to me today.  It’s short.  It’s sweet.  It’s Jesus to perfection.

The greatest man in history, name Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called him healer.  He had no army, yet kings feared him. He won no military battles yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today!!

I would simply say…that’s Jesus!  The greatest man history has ever known OR will ever know.

ABC’s of getting things done

Via email, I receive weekly updates from author Denis Waitley.  This week, I found a nugget of gold in his article and wanted to pass it on.

I call it the ABC’s of getting things done! It’s also a systematic approach on being more purposeful & resourceful with your time.  It’s a short list of the order to get things done.

A is for action immediately
B is before the end of the day
C is can wait until tomorrow

Simple and yet profound.  This is a great refresher as we head into the New Year.  2010…bring it on!
